Politeknik Piksi Ganesha Supports Local Community Business Development through BUMDES Mentorship

Politeknik Piksi Ganesha actively supports local economic development by assisting in the establishment of BUMDES (Village-Owned Enterprise) Karya Maju Cemerlang in Apung Village, North Kalimantan. This initiative, led by university students, aims to empower the local community to create financially and socially sustainable businesses.

Students engage with the community through a series of impactful steps, including identifying the village’s potential resources and skills, developing a practical business plan, and providing mentorship. This support covers business planning, organizational structuring, and creating a viable business model tailored to the needs of Apung Village.

Once BUMDES is operational, students continue to mentor local entrepreneurs, offering guidance on monitoring progress, evaluating performance, and navigating challenges. Additionally, they help facilitate partnerships with government bodies, NGOs, and private organizations to enhance resources and growth opportunities for the village enterprise.

Through this collaborative approach, Politeknik Piksi Ganesha empowers communities to build sustainable businesses, fostering economic and social growth in North Kalimantan.
