Politeknik Piksi Ganesha Receives Government Assistance for Alignment of Educational Units in 2024

Politeknik Piksi Ganesha was selected as one of the vocational education institutions that received assistance from the government for the Alignment of Vocational Education Units with the Business World, Industry World, and Work World (DUDIKA) program in 2024.

This assistance aims to improve the quality of vocational education and ensure that graduates are ready to face the challenges of the world of work.

This program will include various activities, such as Industrial Visits, FGD Alignment between SPV and Industry Partners, Workshops on analyzing the suitability of expertise concentrations/study programs/skill types with the needs of the world of work competencies based on regions/sectors, and increasing the relevance of learning by presenting practitioners from the world of work to teach in vocational education units.

Director of Politeknik Piksi Ganesha, Assoc. Prof. Dr. H. K. Prihartono, AH, S.Kom., M.M, MOS., CMA., MPM., MBA, said “Government assistance is a positive step that shows real support for the development of vocational education in Indonesia. This is a very valuable opportunity to improve the quality of education and ensure that graduates not only have theoretical knowledge, but also relevant skills and are ready to face the demands of an increasingly dynamic world of work.”

This also shows the government’s commitment to increasing the competitiveness of Indonesian human resources in the global market, by ensuring that vocational education focuses on developing practical skills needed by industry. It is hoped that this assistance can create greater opportunities for students to get jobs and for industry to get workers who meet their standards.

Overall, this is a very positive strategic step in strengthening the relationship between higher education and the industrial world, as well as preparing Indonesia to face the challenges of the future world of work.
