SOCIOPRENEURSHIP FOR A BETTER FUTURE: BUILDING A SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS FOR SDGS “WITH POLITEKNIK PIKSI GANESHA AND WAHDWANI FOUNDATION”

On Monday to Wednesday, 13-15 January 2025, the Faculty Development Program with Whadwani Foundation was held. The programme was opened by the Director of Politeknik Piksi Ganesha, Assoc. Prof. Dr. H K Prihartono AH, M.M., MOS, CMA, MPM, in his remarks expressed his gratitude to representatives of several other universities who had appointed Politeknik Piksi Ganesha to be the organiser of the FDP training activities, ‘Hopefully with this training the Ignite Platform from Whadwani Foundataion can help the Teaching and Learning Process, provide interactive learning experiences, including the use of AI-powered learning tools and innovative teaching methods such as simulations, case studies, and interactive classes’. In addition, Ignite is also connected / can access a global network of educators, industry leaders, and entrepreneurs, which can enrich knowledge in the teaching and learning process. In this activity, 45 lecturers attended directly and 100 participants followed via full Online Zoom from 08.00 to 17.00 every day for 3 full days. Mrs Ai Susi S, S.ST., M.M., MOS, as Deputy Director of Academic Affairs of Politeknik Piksi Ganesha, said at the closing of the event gave an impression to the Whadwani Foundation regarding the Bandung FDP activities that the training activities had: ‘A lot of new knowledge and skills, this programme provides a new perspective on teaching methods and curriculum development, and believes that if the material I get / the training participants get and is implemented, it will produce creative and innovative young entrepreneurs in Indonesia’.
