On November 14, 2024, the Director of Politeknik Piksi Ganesha, Assoc. Prof. Dr. H. K. Prihartono AH, Drs., S.Sos., S.Kom., M.M., MOS., CMA., MPM, attended a signing of a joint commitment with Bandung Mayor Ir. A. Koswara, M.P, at the Bandung City Hall. This commitment aims to promote reforestation of critical lands and sustainable waste management on campus. This initiative is part of a synergy between the Government and Higher Education to address urgent environmental challenges, especially related to climate change, ecosystem degradation, and waste management, which remains a significant issue in major cities like Bandung.

The commitment focuses on two main areas:
1. Reforestation of Critical Lands
2. Sustainable Waste Management on Campus

This commitment marks the beginning of a broader collaboration to support sustainable development in Bandung. The collaboration between the government and higher education institutions is expected to make Bandung a model for a greener, cleaner, and more eco-friendly city, positively impacting the quality of life for future generations.
