Bandung Plants Volume Six – Sustainable Bandung Conservation

December 14, 2024 – Bandung

The Bandung City Government once again launched its flagship program, Bandung Menanam Volume Six, with the theme of Sustainable Bandung Conservation. This program invites students, colleges and staff, especially Polytechnic College Piksi Ganesha, to play an active role in environmental conservation efforts through tree planting in Taman Kehati, Jl. Cigagak Cipadung, Palasari Village, Cibiru District, Bandung City.
This news informs a series of activities starting from making planting holes, fertilizing, to making ajir or tree enforcers with the materials provided. The activity schedule runs from December 1 to 11, 2024, providing ample opportunities for participants to actively contribute.
As part of this program, universities are encouraged to donate hardwood tree seedlings such as Puspa, Kapundung, Loa, Namnam, Bunut, Gandaria, or other types. Seedlings can be deposited at Taman Kehati during this time, with a specification of about 1 meter in length.
The peak of the event will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, with a tree planting ceremony at Taman Kehati. In addition, the program is designed as an ongoing activity, so participants can carry out planting both before and after the main ceremony.
This news also includes important information for universities that have not yet received tree seedlings, where Taman Kehati provides one tree seedling to be planted during the ceremony. Contact information for coordination with Taman Kehati is also included to ensure the smooth running of the activity.
With the spirit of collaboration and sustainability, Bandung Menanam Volume Six is expected to be a real step in creating a greener and more sustainable environment in Bandung. Let’s together succeed this movement and realize sustainable environmental conservation!
