Marking a significant milestone, North Eastern Mindanao State University (NEMSU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Politeknik Piksi Ganesha and Philippine Normal University Mindanao during the second day of the International Educators’ Congress on May 22 at the Prospero Pichay Sr. Gymnasium.


Present at the signing were NEMSU President Dr. Nemesio G. Loayon, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Maria Lady Sol A. Suazo, and Vice President for Research and Extension Dr. Rolly G. Salvaleon. Also in attendance was Dr. Santy Christinawati, Head of the International Office at Politeknik Piksi Ganesha, Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. Joining via Zoom was Dr. Adelyne M. Costelo-Abrea, Executive Director and Provost of Philippine Normal University Mindanao.
The signed MOU strengthens institutional collaboration โ paving the way for student, faculty, and researcher exchanges, joint research initiatives, academic collaborations, international conferences, short courses, cultural exchange programs, study tours, and internships. Additionally, the agreement supports the universityโs goal of enhancing global recognition and improving university rankings.
In her address, Dr. Santy Christinawati assured the participating institutions that the agreement would be actively implemented and encourage education students to pursue internships at Politeknik Piksi Ganesha.
