Politeknik Piksi Ganesha Collaborates with 34 Universities in Warnasari Village

Warnasari Village, June 13-14, 2025

The Community Service Program (PKM) Collaboration Batch 3 with the theme “Empowerment and Development of Local Potential for Sustainable Welfare” was successfully held on 13–14 June 2025 in Warnasari Village, Cileunca, Pangalengan, Bandung Regency.

The event was officially opened by the Head of Warnasari Village, KI AA Sugiharto, S.IP. In his remarks, he expressed his delight in collaborating with lecturers from various universities under LLDikti Region III (Jakarta), LLDikti Region IV (West Java and Banten), Kopertis 1 (Jakarta and Banten), and Kopertis 2 (West Java). He also conveyed his hopes that this PKM program would contribute scientific knowledge to support the development of MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) in Warnasari Village and ensure its continuity in the future.

This activity became a tangible proof of the higher education sector’s commitment in supporting community-based development through cross-institutional collaboration.

The PKM Collaboration Batch 3 was attended by 120 lecturers from 34 universities across LLDikti 3, LLDikti 4, as well as Kopertis 1 and 2. Politeknik Piksi Ganesha, as one of the polytechnics under LLDikti 4, actively participated in this program. This collaboration marked a strategic momentum in strengthening the contribution of higher education institutions to society, particularly in the areas of empowerment and sustainable development. The program also included the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and partnership agreements between Warnasari Village and several participating universities.

The PKM activities adopted a participatory education approach, where lecturers engaged directly with the community through various educational sessions and collaborative practices. A total of 24 community service topics were delivered, covering entrepreneurship, character education, appropriate technology, occupational health and safety (OHS) in the agricultural sector, MSME digitalization, and more. Each topic was tailored to the specific needs and local potential of Warnasari Village residents.

A lecturer from Politeknik Piksi Ganesha, Dr. Jajat Sudrajat, S.Pd., M.M., presented material on the importance of promoting fertilizer and cattle products through social media. He emphasized the need for local farmers and livestock breeders to master online marketing concepts. His session on digital marketing utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) became one of the highlights, offering practical insights for the farming community in Warnasari Village.

In addition, another important agenda was the establishment of three Reading Corners located at SDN Palayangan and the PKK Office of Warnasari Village. This initiative aimed to enhance literacy access for children and villagers, while also supporting sustainable educational activities. The establishment of these reading corners was made possible through donations from individuals and institutions in the form of proper reading books and financial support. Carrying the spirit of “Sharing and Caring,” this initiative became an integral contribution of academia to improving community literacy.

The PKM Collaboration Batch 3 not only contributed academic knowledge to support local MSMEs, but also served as a platform for building networks and strengthening relationships among participating lecturers. By sharing expertise across diverse fields such as Management and Communication, the program is expected to advance MSMEs both in terms of business management and marketing communication strategies.
