In an effort to enhance students’ readiness for the National Competency Examination (UKOMNAS)

Bandung, August 4-6, 2025

The Diploma III Program in Medical Records and Health Information (RMIK) at Politeknik Piksi Ganesha Bandung organized a UKOMNAS Intensive Preparation Program utilizing an e-learning platform based on the Computer Based Test (CBT) system. This activity took place at the CBT Center of Politeknik Piksi Ganesha, equipped with state-of-the-art technology to support the implementation of digital-based exam simulations, and was held from August 4 to August 6, 2025, attended by 250 students.

This UKOMNAS preparation is part of the academic strategy of the D3 RMIK program to equip final-year students with an in-depth understanding of question types, case-based approaches (vignettes), and mastery of the competency areas tested according to the blueprint set by the PMIK Collegium. Through the e-learning system, students were trained not only in cognitive aspects but also accustomed to working in a digital environment that mirrors the actual exam conditions.

The implementation of this preparation aimed to measure both individual and collective readiness, map competency achievements, and provide constructive feedback for further learning improvement. The presence of the CBT Center as the central venue for the simulation served as an added value, as it allowed students to experience an atmosphere and psychological pressure similar to the official UKOMNAS.

Through this program, it is expected that the D3 RMIK students of Politeknik Piksi Ganesha will face the UKOMNAS on August 14–16, 2025 with greater confidence, structure, and professionalism, enabling them to achieve maximum results and enter the workforce as competent and ethical medical record professionals.

The UKOMNAS Intensive Preparation Program organized by the Diploma III Program in Medical Records and Health Information (RMIK) at Politeknik Piksi Ganesha represents a highly strategic and forward-thinking initiative. By utilizing a Computer-Based Test (CBT) e-learning platform, the program not only equips students with technical mastery of the exam format but also strengthens their adaptability to digital testing environments—an essential skill in today’s healthcare and professional landscape.
