Politeknik Piksi Ganesha Enhances Scientific Publication Capacity Through the 2025 Accredited Journal Assistance and Development Workshop

Bandung, August 11–13, 2025 – Politeknik Piksi Ganesha Bandung participated in the 2025 Accredited Journal Assistance and Development Workshop organized by the Directorate of Research and Community Service, Directorate General of Research and Development, in collaboration with Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani. The event was attended by 40 universities under Kopertis Region IV with the aim of increasing the number, quality, and management standards of scientific publications in Indonesia.

The workshop focused on strengthening journal governance, improving publication substance, and accelerating journal accreditation toward national and international standards. Participants received technical guidance on managing the Open Journal System (OJS), manuscript management, editing processes, and peer review mechanisms.

This initiative is aligned with Politeknik Piksi Ganesha’s commitment to supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:

SDG 4 – Quality Education: by enhancing lecturers’ capacity to write scientific articles and manage journals in accordance with national and international accreditation standards.

SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals: by building strategic collaborations with universities, associations, and research institutions to strengthen the scientific publication ecosystem.
