The RTA APTIRMIKI Korwil IX Makassar Health Poster Competition

The RTA APTIRMIKI Korwil IX Makassar Health Poster Competition was held online on 21–24 August 2025 as part of a series of annual member meetings. The activity carried the theme:

“Strengthening the Competencies of PMIK Candidates Towards Excellent Human Resources in the Digital Era.”

This competition served as a forum for students to express their creativity while delivering important health messages through attractive and educational visual media.

The main objective of the competition was to strengthen the competencies of prospective Medical Record and Health Information (PMIK) professionals so they are well-prepared to face the challenges of the digital era. In addition, this activity encouraged the younger generation to recognize the importance of digital transformation in the health services sector.

Through their poster creations, students were challenged to communicate health messages that are innovative, relevant, and easy to understand for the wider community.

The competition process involved a strict selection by judges, who assessed aspects of originality, design quality, and message accuracy. From this process, the students achieved a proud milestone by winning 1st place in the National Health Poster Competition.

This achievement is not only evidence of student creativity and competence, but also reflects a real contribution toward the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:

• SDG 3 Good Health and Well-Being : by promoting public health awareness through accessible health communication.
• SDG 4 Quality Education : by providing a platform for students to develop knowledge, creativity, and practical skills in digital health communication.
• SDG 9 Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure : by encouraging innovation through the use of digital media to improve health services.
