Strengthening Early Childhood Education Quality Through Accreditation Support in Karawang and Bekasi

Sept 1 2025 – Karawang and Bekasi, West Java

Early Childhood Education (PAUD) is a crucial foundation in a child’s development. At this stage, children begin to learn and develop essential skills that will influence their future success. Proper early education helps children build strong cognitive, social, and emotional abilities.

Early childhood education is not only about teaching children how to read and write but also about nurturing their ability to think critically, collaborate, and manage emotions. With quality education, children can grow into confident, independent individuals who are ready to face future challenges.

Therefore, it is vital for parents and educators to give serious attention to early childhood education so that children can gain a strong foundation for lifelong success.

Politeknik Piksi Ganesha supports the quality of early childhood education by assigning its lecturer, Jajat Sudrajat, S.Pd., M.M., Ph.D., to serve as an assessor for PAUD institutions. This initiative is part of Politeknik Piksi Ganesha’s contribution to the government’s efforts in ensuring quality assurance and accreditation for early childhood education.

In 2025, approximately 3,000 PAUD institutions are participating in the accreditation process, and since 2017, Politeknik Piksi Ganesha has proudly been part of this national program through the active involvement of its lecturers.

Relevance to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

  • SDG 4: Quality Education – Ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all.
  • SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals – Strengthening partnerships between higher education institutions, government, and educational organizations to enhance accreditation and quality standards.
