Foster Parent Time! Thai & Sudanese Students – Piksi Ganesha Polytechnic

To help our international friends from Thailand and Sudan feel more at home, Piksi Ganesha Polytechnic launched a Foster Parent Program—a fun and heartwarming initiative where lecturers, staff, and campus partners became their “foster families,” hosted at the home of our beloved Director.

This family-style program gave the students a real taste of Indonesian home life, including warm traditions, local values, and lots of shared smiles. The event was relaxed and super friendly, filled with fun chats, shared meals, and traditional games that brought everyone closer.

We truly believe that moments like this help build lifelong friendships, support academic success, and open minds to the beauty of multicultural living.

Big thanks to all foster families, especially our director, for the warmth, kindness, and support shown to our international students.

This Foster Parent Program shows how education is more than academics—it’s also about empathy, care, and shared humanity. A simple act of togetherness can shape lifelong memories and strengthen global friendships.
