Workshop to improve scientific insight with practitioners

Improving the Scientific Knowledge of Polytechnic Piksi Ganesha Educators with Practitioners is a strategic effort to enrich the knowledge and skills of educators (lecturers or instructors) at Polytechnic Piksi Ganesha by involving industrial practitioners or professionals in related fields. This collaboration is important to ensure that educators have a deep understanding and high relevance to the development of the industrial world and the needs of the job market.

This activity involves lecturers and students in increasing insight and sharing experiences related to teaching practitioners and collaborating with PT. Makerindo and Bitanic Indonesia.

The workshop was held for 5 days with various materials presented, starting from the concept of managing a project to practicing how to manage precision agriculture using IOT-based tools.

One of the products developed from this collaboration program is Bitanic Fertigation (Fertilization and irrigation) to support precision agriculture and is applied in the Polytechnic Piksi Ganesha environment in the form of Hydroponic plants.

The implementation of this technology is part of the Technopreneurship curriculum, a course designed to discuss and develop technology-based entrepreneurship. Through this course, students not only learn theory, but also practice developing technological solutions to real challenges in the agricultural sector, which are in line with the needs of the modern era.
